TERMS AND CONDITIONS/WARRANTY
1. BY ACCEPTING DELIVERY OF RENTED ITEMS, CUSTOMER AGREES TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS SHOWN ON THIS RENTAL CONTRACT. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT S/HE HAS RECEIVED IN GOOD ORDER ALL RENTED ITEMS AND OTHER GOODS LISTED ON THE CONTRACT.
2. CUSTOMER ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL RENTED ITEMS, INCLUDING THEIR SAFE AND PROPER USE, OPERATION, MAINTENANCE, AND RETURN TO THE FUN TEAM. CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CLEANING, LOSS, THEFT, DAMAGE, OR REPAIR AND WILL BE CHARGED APPROPRIATELY.
3. PARADISE PARTY HIRE & EVENTS MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT ABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
4. THIS RENTAL CONTRACT FORMS THE SOLE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CUSTOMER AND PARADISE PARTY HIRE & EVENTS. THE CUSTOMER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD PARADISE PARTY HIRE & EVENTS HARMLESS FOR ANY CLAIMS FROM CUSTOMERS USE OR MISUSE, INCLUDING ANY THIRD PARTIES FOR LOSS, INJURY, AND DAMAGE TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY ARISING OUT OF THE CUSTOMER'S NEGLIGENCE OR OPERATION INCLUDING LEGAL COSTS INCURRED IN DEFENSE OF SUCH CLAIMS.
5. OPERATORS SHOULD READ ALL WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS (SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS).
6. RETAKING OF EQUIPMENT: IF CUSTOMER FAILS TO RETURN ALL RENTED ITEMS UPON AGREED TIME, CUSTOMER AGREES TO PAY FOR ALL ADDITIONAL CHARGES. IF CUSTOMER REFUSES TO RETURN RENTED ITEMS, THE CUSTOMER AGREES THAT THE FUN TEAM AND ITS AGENTS MAY TAKE ALL REASONABLE ACTIONS NECESSARY TO RECOVER RENTED ITEMS WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE OR LEGAL PROCESS.
7. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THE POSSIBILITY OF INJURY AND WILL PROVIDE ADULT SUPERVISION AT ALL TIMES ACCORDING TO THE RULES GIVEN TO RENTAL PARTY PRIOR TO EVENT, WRITTEN INSTRUCTION, OR VERBAL.
8. SOLICITOR FEES: CUSTOMER AGREES TO PAY ALL REASONABLE LEGAL FEES AND COURT COSTS INCURRED BY PARADISE PARTY HIRE & EVENTSIN ENFORCING THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
9. IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO APPLY FOR PARK PERMITS AND HAVE WORKING POWER AVAILABLE. IF PARADISE PARTY HIRE & EVENTS ARRIVES AND THERE IS NO WORKING POWER AND NO GENERATOR HAS BEEN RENTED FROM US, YOU WILL STILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY THE FULL AMOUNT. OUR CASTLES REQUIRE AT LEAST A 5.5KVA GENERATOR TO POWER THE BLOWERS.
10. THE CUSTOMER MUST NOTIFY PARADISE PARTY HIRE & EVENTS OF ANY UNDERGROUND SERVICES, PIPES, ELECTRICAL WIRES OR OTHER UNDERGROUND EQUIPMENT AS BOUNCY CASTLES WILL BE PEGGED INTO THE GROUND.
CANCELLATIONS:
If you need to cancel your event for any reason, there will be a 20% cancellation fee on the total booking value once deposit is paid.
However if you cancel within 7 days of your booking all payments made will be forfeited. This is because we only have limited stock and could have booked the items out to other parties.
Entertainers: As we only have a limited number of entertainers (face painters, balloon twisters, etc) who are in high demand, any cancellations within 14 days will be charged at the full price. This includes bad weather as we can still entertain indoors.
Also any overtime our entertainers do will be charged to the customer at our hourly rate. Please have adult supervision of balloons around small children in case of choking hazards. Our entertainers are not responsible for supervising small children.
WET WEATHER: In the result of inclement weather please contact us on the day if you are concerned. A decision will be made on the day not earlier. If it rains after we have set up, no refund or credit voucher will be given. A decision has to be made before set up.
If you booked a package the entertainer will still go ahead at the normal full price and we will give a credit for the difference for the castle.
If you decide to not go ahead with your booking on that particular day due to bad weather you have the following options:
We can reschedule your booking to another date/event that you have coming up
We can provide you with a credit voucher for the value of the deposit that can be used anytime within 12 months from the date of the booking for entertainment at another event - you just need to give us a call and we can organise it for you.
RULES FOR THE JUMPING CASTLE/SLIDE THAT YOU HAVE ON HIRE:
WHEN THE CASTLE / SLIDES ARE IN USE THERE IS TO BE NO FOOD, DRINKS, SHOES, WATER, CLIMBING THE WALLS OF THE CASTLE
FULL ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED WHENEVER A CHILD IS ON THE CASTLE / SLIDE
IF IT RAINS WHILE THE CASTLE / SLIDE IS OPERATING YOU SHOULD DO THE FOLLOWING:
ASK ALL CHILDREN TO STOP JUMPING AND TO EXIT THE JUMPING CASTLE / SLIDE THEN DISCONNECT THE POWER FROM THE BLOWER AFTER THE CASTLE / SLIDE IS CLEARED
BRING THE BLOWER INTO AN AREA SHELTERED FROM THE RAIN AND ONCE THE RAIN HAS STOPED RE-ATTACH THE BLOWER AND INFLATE THE CASTLE / SLIDE
Note: Jumping Castle and Jump n Slide Combo Castle (4 x 5m) or Obstacle Challenge Fun
No more than 6-8 Children jumping in the castle at one time - No more than 2 Children (UNDER 60KG) running through the obstacles at one time
Children no older than 8 years of age are to be on this inflatable - Once the first children have come down the slide the next 2 can go
Note: Jumping Castle and Jump n Slide Combo Castle (4.5x5m & 5.5x5.5m) or Pirate Ship & Super Slide
No more than 10 Children in jumping in the castle at one time. No more than 2 Children in sliding down at one time
Children no older than 12 years of age are to be on this inflatable.
Super Slide: Great for all ages and no more than 6 on the item at one time
